Management and staff of MBTS are committed to a system of quality management which will ensure that blood, blood products and related services meet quality requirements.

Quality will be achieved by:

  • Integrating quality principles into the strategic plan.

  • Conforming to standards as laid down by Ministry of Health.

  • Determining the effectiveness and suitability of the QMS through management reviews.

  • Measuring the compliance of the Quality Management System through assessment scheme, internal quality audits, and responding appropriately to customer complaints. 

  • Recruiting, selecting and retaining dedicated, skilled staff.

  •  Developing staff through on-going training.

  • Maintaining a quality management system within the work area to ensure improvement of products, processes and services.
